Carolyn Barker and Lori Barker, the owners of Avalon Properties and Avalon Custom Homes, are among a small group of female builders in the western United States. Their expertise lies in their ability to listen to a prospective homeowner’s needs and desires and have them result in an extraordinary custom home product. Construction from a “woman’s point of view” have earned Carolyn and Lori the coveted 5-star energy rating and recognition from national building publications. “The Barker Gang” has worked on numerous projects over their 13 year history in Bullhead City. Carolyn was a sales agent and project manager for Fox Creek in 1995 and continued on to help develop and construct homes in Desert Skies. Early in 2001 Lori and Carolyn continued their story as they developed the beautiful gated community of Majestic Crest. They are now in full-swing in the golf community of Laughlin Ranch building homes with breathtaking views in Avalon Heights. Looking forward, they have begun to sell lots for their estate homes in Desert Shores. The “river city” landscape has a definite imprint left by the number of custom homes built by Lori and Carolyn.

Lori, a former financial controller, is degreed in Business/Finance & Management. As the general contractor she oversees all aspects of the construction side of Avalon Custom Homes. Carolyn is Lori’s partner and is the broker and sales manager for Avalon Properties. They have surrounded themselves with a team of dedicated professionals who are proud of the “branding” they have created for Avalon Custom Homes in the Tri-State area.
